Knitting This Week
6:00 AMIt's Wednesday again and it is time to share yarn and books. I'm joining with Ginny and every one to share what we've been reading and working on. Rather than share yet one more post on my socks, sweater, and scarf, this week I'm sharing a finished project!
Last week we had a parent meeting at C's school. We found out that the school is cooperating with Children's Hospital for the holidays. One of the items we need is hats for the kids in the oncology department. So I came home and whipped up this cute little hat! It was a free pattern on Ravelry and I used stash yarn. Considering I've been working on the same projects for seems like forever, it was nice to accomplish something!
If anyone is has some spare knitting time and some stash they'd like to use up consider knitting a hat for charity! You'll be glad you did!

What an adorable hat! I will have to make one for my niece. I love it. I have been doing some charity knitting lately and it is good for the soul.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I would love to knit for charity... what a blessing to craft for a cause. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThe hat looks so sweet Jen, I think the bow is just the right touch. I have been donating to my LYS knitting that is given to our local women's shelter, every little bit helps.
ReplyDeleteCute hate. Can you provide the name/link?
