Yarn Along

6:00 AM

It is Wednesday again and that means it is time for the weekly yarn along.  I'm joining with Ginny and others to share books and yarn!  I finished the Woobie!  And just in time too!  Baby Willow was born last week.  My ears don't look like the ears in the pictures on the pattern, but I think they turned out ok.   Plus I was pretty impatient to finish so my satin stitched eyes and nose are average at best.  But all in all it was a pretty easy pattern to follow and I think it turned out pretty cute.  Miss C wants one and I told her she was too old for a woobie, but I'd make her something else.  Now to figure what to make.

I started reading Needled To Death by Maggie Sefton.  This is book two in the series of books.  They are stand alone books so you can read one without reading them in order.  I'm just obsessive enough to read them in order.  The books take place in Fort Connor, Colorado and the yarn shop in the books is an actual shop in Fort Collins.  That is one thing that bugs me about these books...the author has changed the names of two town but has left some others towns named unchanged.  It is a fun, quick, mystery read.

Happy Yarn Along Wednesday!
