Knitting This Week
7:00 AMIt's Wednesday and that means it is time for the weekly yarn along. I'm joining with Ginny and everyone to share yarn and books. I decided to make the Funky Grandpa with my Rhinebeck yarn. This is fingering weight yarn from O Wool. I had never heard of or seen it but fell in love with the colors and knew that I had found what I was in search of.

I have heard of O-Wool, but have never knit with it so please keep us updated.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed the no spend October, for the most part, but over all I realized I
really don't spend a lot of money to begin with, I'm pretty tight with a penny ;)
I loved making Funky Grandpa!!!!!! Great choice of yarn for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your photo (previous post) with Donna! She shared on her blog, too. :) How fun to meet up with a fellow blogger/knitter in a place we would all have loved to have been. Enjoy knitting with the gorgeous stash of new yarn!

Such pretty new yarn!! That sweater is cute but the yarn looks like a bear to work with!
ReplyDeleteThat is going to make a wonderful Funky Grandpa. I don't blame you for not wanting to spend that sort of money on a little sweater. She will grow out of it before you know it. The Ruth Soukup book sounds interesting. I will have to see if my library has it.
ReplyDeleteI love your comments. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
